The purpose of this job is…
To support the delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes. The Dental Assistant assists with clinical procedures, maintains infection control standards, ensures equipment is properly sterilised, and keeps treatment rooms clean, organised, and ready for patient care.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Previous experience is essential, and a Certificate III in Dental Assisting is highly regarded; however, we welcome all candidates with a genuine passion for a career in dental assisting to apply.
• You’ll bring strong chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays, and a solid understanding of dental instrumentation.
• A thorough knowledge of infection control is required, along with the ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with BDC procedures and WHS standards.
• You’ll also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a warm and patient-focused approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, modern, high-volume practice while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
