MR Driver / Jockey / Warehouse Store Person

Nunawading, Melbourne VIC
Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
$36 per hour
Monday to Friday | 6:30am to 3:00pm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Jockey / Warehouse Store Person to join our client based in Nunawading. Our client supply a wide selection of quality building products, including plaster and partiwall systems and professional advice.

This is a varied position combining MR driving, customer deliveries, warehouse operations, and stock management. You'll play an important role in ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time while supporting the day-to-day functions of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and collect goods in a safe and timely manner
  • Load and unload customer and stock orders
  • Maintain accurate delivery and service records
  • Perform general warehouse and store person duties
  • Assist with stock control and inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to OH&S policies and workplace safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve service delivery
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current MR License (essential)
  • Previous driving and delivery experience
  • Warehouse or store person experience
  • Building, construction or trade industry experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong team focus
