Accounts Clerk

About the role

At Nuam Holdings Pty Ltd, we are seeking a full-time Accounts Clerk to join our team. This is an on-site role suited to someone experienced with MYOB and comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for:
2. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including preparing invoices, recording payments, and following up outstanding accounts.
3. Maintaining financial records and accounting data, ensuring invoices, receipts,purchase orders, and other financial documents are accurately filed and updated.
4. Reconciling bank statements and account balances, identifying discrepancies and assisting in resolving financial variances.
5. Preparing and processing routine financial documents, including payment vouchers,expense claims, credit notes, and supplier payments.
6. Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting procedures, including preparing reports, compiling financial information, and supporting accountants with bookkeeping activities.

Skills ∧ Experiences Required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

1. At least one year of work experience in accounting/Bookkeeping
2. Formal qualification in bookkeeping or accounting (At least Diploma level)
3. Software and spreadsheet proficiency
4. Attention to details
5. Time management, communication and customer service skills
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
