We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Manager (PSM) to lead our eyecare network across Victoria, Tasmania, and the ACT, supporting our OPSM and EyeQ businesses.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will lead optometry recruitment, clinical excellence, workforce capability, and innovation across OPSM and EyeQ stores in VIC, TAS and ACT. Partnering closely with State Sales & Operations leaders, external stakeholders, and national teams, you will drive business performance, strengthen clinical standards, and shape the future of eyecare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead optometry recruitment and workforce planning to build a strong and sustainable talent pipeline.
• Lead and develop a team of Area Eyecare Managers, driving clinical excellence through coaching, capability building, and performance management.
• Partner with State Sales & Operations teams to optimise store performance and deliver commercial objectives.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and patient-focused culture.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies and innovations to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Identify and execute growth opportunities that support business performance and market leadership.
• Build strong relationships with universities, professional bodies, regulators, and key external stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery of best-practice patient care through strong clinical governance and professional standards.
• Collaborate with national leaders to implement strategic initiatives and drive consistency across the network.

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Optometry or a related healthcare discipline.
• Proven leadership experience within optometry, healthcare, retail, and/or professional services environments.
• Strong track record of developing high-performance teams
• Demonstrated success in recruitment, workforce planning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Passionate about developing people, driving innovation, and creating positive patient outcomes.
• Solution mindset, and be adaptible to change and emerging technology
