Commercial Bricklayers – Canberra $50–$60 per hour + Super, Plus Travel, Plus Overtime & Weekend Work Available Ongoing Work - Flat out till XMAS and next Year. Local Workforce Hire is currently recruiting experienced Commercial Bricklayers for ongoing work on major commercial construction projects across Canberra. This is an excellent opportunity for bricklayers who have genuine commercial construction experience and are looking for consistent work, competitive pay and the opportunity to work on quality projects. About the Role You will be working on established commercial construction projects throughout Canberra, including: Commercial office buildings Apartment complexes and residential towers Major commercial developments Multi-storey construction projects Government and large-scale construction projects Other major commercial building projects Typical working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday , with overtime and weekend work regularly available depending on project requirements. Pay & Benefits $50–$60 per hour + superannuation, plus Travel , depending on experience and skill level Overtime opportunities Weekend work available Ongoing work for reliable and experienced bricklayers Work on major commercial construction projects Competitive rates based on experience Potential for long-term opportunities About You We are looking for bricklayers who have at least 12 months of recent commercial bricklaying experience . Your experience must include working on commercial construction projects such as: Office buildings Apartment complexes Commercial developments Multi-storey buildings Large-scale construction projects Residential-only bricklaying experience will not be suitable for this position. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work efficiently and safely on a commercial construction site and produce a high standard of workmanship. Essential Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have: Minimum 12 months commercial bricklaying experience Experience working on commercial buildings, offices, apartment complexes or major developments Current White Card Current Asbestos Awareness training Current Silica Awareness training Appropriate PPE Reliable transport to and from commercial construction sites Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm Availability for overtime and weekend work when required Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team Good understanding of commercial construction site safety requirements What We Are Looking For We are looking for bricklayers who: Take pride in their workmanship Arrive on time and ready to work Follow site safety requirements Can read and follow construction plans and specifications Work efficiently while maintaining quality Can work as part of a professional construction team Are reliable and committed to ongoing work Have a strong understanding of commercial construction environments Why Work With Local Workforce Hire?
