Job Description \n

We are looking for a Full Time Night Cleaner to join our overnight team and help keep The William Inglis Hotel clean, safe and beautifully presented throughout the night, ready for our guests each morning.

\n

Most regular shifts are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00pm – 6:00am.

\n

In this role, you will:

\n

\n
• Clean and maintain the hotel’s public areas to a high standard.
\n
• Complete general and deep cleaning duties throughout the hotel.
\n
• Ensure corridors, public spaces and guest-facing areas are clean, tidy and well presented.
\n
• Support the Night Manager with ad hoc room and overnight responsibilities as required.
\n
• Assist with cleaning requests and other overnight operational needs.
\n
• Ensure the hotel is clean and ready for the morning operation.
\n
• Follow all health, safety and cleaning procedures, including the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
\n
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards or damage to the appropriate team member.
\n

Qualifications \n

What We're Looking For

\n

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that attention to detail is essential in a luxury hotel environment.

\n

Our ideal candidate will:

\n

\n
• Have previous cleaning, housekeeping or hotel experience. If you're an expert cleaner at home we also want to hear from you!
\n
• Have a strong eye for detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
\n
• Be reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently overnight.
\n
• Be comfortable with the physical requirements of an overnight cleaning role, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting as required.
\n
• Have a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to assist the wider overnight team.
\n
• Be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety procedures.
\n
• Be professional, trustworthy and respectful of our guests, hotel and team.
\n
• Have full working rights in Australia.
\n
• Be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends.
\n
