Job Description

Job Overview: The Operations Team Leader is responsible for managing a small team overseeing operations, inventory, and supervising order processing, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely delivery of products
  • Implement and maintain warehouse best practices to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or shipments
  • Ensure temperature integrity for stock are maintained and data collected
  • Escalate errors to the relevant Manager
  • Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines by all direct reports
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience as a warehouse team leader or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Proficient in inventory management and software systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
