Your Roll
As Assistant Manager / 2IC, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the team, driving store performance, and delivering an exceptional customer journey.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and coach your team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets
- Drive a luxury customer experience, building genuine connections with each client
- Oversee daily operations including, but not limited to, stock control, store presentation and visual merchandising
- Ensure compliance with brand and company policies
- Collaborate with our Managers and Head Office teams to support marketing, training and reporting needs
- Play a hands-on role in assisting customers with frame selection and eyewear styling
- Foster a team culture that’s positive, professional, and up to date with the latest in the optical industry
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Retail experience is essential
- Optical Experience is preferred but not essential. We provide comprehensive training
- Customer Central Approach: A passion for customer service and leading by example
- Teamwork minded: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in transactions and product handling
- Visual merchandising and stock management experience
- Flexibility to work across weekends and peak trading periods
