What You'll Be Doing

• On-Site Project Management: Oversee residential building sites from slab down to hand-over, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
\n
• Build Scheduling: Coordinate daily timelines, organise materials, and manage trade contractors efficiently to prevent site delays.
\n
• Strict Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all workmanship meets G.J. Gardner's high standards and local compliance regulations.
\n
• Subcontractor & Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with local trades, contractors, and building material suppliers.
\n
• Client Communication: Keep home buyers updated and reassured at key construction milestones throughout their build journey.

What You'll Bring

• Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry or a relevant building trade qualification.
\n
• Licences Required: Valid QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (or eligibility to obtain) and a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
\n
• Construction Literacy: Strong understanding of residential construction plans, timber framing, site safety (WHS), and QLD building codes.
\n
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to direct trade contractors, solve site issues proactively, and liaise with clients.

• Organisation: Solid time management and basic computer literacy to work with modern digital scheduling and project management tools.
