Our Team \n

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

Your Role \n

\n
• The Production Tradesperson Operates a range of production machinery.
\n
• Conduct fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
\n
• Be a part of significant change by proposing improvements with Technical Officer/Production leader
\n
• Issued entire supply of PPE, tools and anything required for the job
\n
• Growth and expansion occurring on site to cater for increased demand and introduction of new products
\n

Your Experience \n

\n
• Certificate III in Engineering in one of the following fields: Fitter and Machinist, Mechanical or Fabrication
\n
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
\n
• Well-developed fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Ability to work in a team environment
\n

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY \n

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

\n

Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website AGSVA/. In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
