Support Unit Teacher

ANZUK Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher for a Support Unit position at a well-resourced primary school in Western Sydney.

About the Role

• Support Unit class of 7 students with Autism and mild intellectual disabilities
• Full-time School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) assigned to the class
• Temporary contract through to December 2027

About You

• Passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Able to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Committed, reliable and looking for a long-term opportunity
• Experience in special education or support settings is advantageous but not essential
• Full working rights and the ability to commit to a longer term role
• NESA accredited
• Approval to Teach in Public Schools and completed Mandatory Training Modules (or willing to obtain)
