We are looking for a commercially curious and analytically minded Senior Commercial Analyst – Marketing to join our Finance team. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Category, Revenue Growth Management and Finance to deliver meaningful commercial insights that support brand growth, marketing investment decisions and improved portfolio performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will provide analysis, insights and decision support that help Marketing and Category stakeholders improve brand performance and make informed commercial decisions.

• Commercial Business Partnering - Partner with Marketing, Category and Finance teams to deliver insights that support profitable brand growth and commercial decision-making. Identify key risks, opportunities and performance trends across brands, pricing and marketing investment.
• Performance Analysis & Planning - Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes through meaningful analysis, reporting and performance insights that improve decision-making and forecast accuracy.
• Investment & Commercial Evaluation - Provide financial analysis for marketing campaigns, pricing initiatives, innovations and promotional programs. Support business cases, ROI assessments and post-investment performance reviews.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement - Build strong relationships across Marketing, Category and Finance, while driving improvements in reporting, processes and commercial decision-support tools.

What You Bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• CA or CPA qualification, or progress towards qualification, will be highly regarded
• Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting, business analysis or a related finance role
• Experience within FMCG, retail, food, marketing, manufacturing or consumer goods will be highly regarded
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of brand performance, marketing investment, margin, pricing, trade spend and product profitability
• Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, business cases, pricing analysis and management reporting
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to question and constructively challenge assumptions
• Advanced Excel capability and experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
• A curious, proactive and collaborative approach, with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
