Service Manager/Team Leader Disability Services \n

As a Serrvice Manager/Team Leader you will provide leadership and oversight across multiple SIL homes, supporting Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred services. This is a leadership and oversight role, not a hands-on support role. You'll focus on staff leadership, incident management, compliance, and service quality, while working closely with Senior Support Workers, Care Coordinators, and the General Manager.

Key responsibilities \n

\n
• Lead, support, and coach Senior Support Workers and Support Workers across allocated SIL homes
\n
• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to staff teams
\n
• Review incident reports, provide staff coaching, and escalation critical incidents as required
\n
• Identify emerging risks and work collaboratively with participants, families, and the wider stakeholder team to reduce risk and improve safety
\n
• Oversee service delivery to ensure supports align with participant care plans, risk assessments, and NDIS requirements
\n
• Work closely with Senior Support Workers to monitor compliance, review regular audits, and conduct weekly spot checks
\n
• Support staff training and performance development
\n
• Act as a key point of contact for participant, family, and stakeholder feedback
\n
• Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to support service delivery when required
\n

About you \n

\n
• Minimum 5 years experience working in disability support services, ideally within SIL environments
\n
• Minimum 3 years experience leading, supervising, or coaching support staff
\n
• Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct
\n
• Confidence managing incidents, risk, and compliance
\n
• Clear communication skills and a professional approach
\n
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
\n
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
\n
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
\n
• National Police Check
\n
• Current First Aid & CPR
\n
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
\n
• Relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, Leadership, or equivalent experience
\n
