ROLE DESCRIPTION

Australia In office MondaytoFriday

As a successful STR Inside Sales professional you will act with integrity while managingnurturingand growing relationships with hotel and industry clients across your region. You will take ownership of the full sales lifecycle usinga consultative and entrepreneurial approach to sell onboard train andretainclients on STRs suite of benchmarking and analytics solutions. Working as part of a collaborativehighperformingteam you will play a key role in strengthening STRs position as the global leader in hotel benchmarking while delivering exceptional client service andlongtermvalue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct proactive research toidentifyand engage potential customers to generate new business opportunity subscriptions with hotel owners and operators

• Learn and communicate the value of our solutions tailored for clients

• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting product demonstrations (virtually) negotiating closing and renewals

• Manageretain and develop client relationships growing data productuseand subscription value via regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage product usage

• Accurately track all activities and client information in the CRM system

• Product demos to on-board and educate existing and new clients of STRs products

• Meet or exceed sales and activity targets

• The role is based in theAdelaideSydneyor Melbourneoffice with no travel

BASEQUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or equivalent experience

• Strongrelationshipbuildingskills with the ability to quicklyestablishrapport and credibility remotely

• Comfortable working to KPIs and sales targets in a structuredmetricsdrivenenvironment comfortable with heavy phone and virtual outreach

• Skilled at quickly building rapport and trust with prospects over the phone or email

• Effective at qualifying leads asking discovery questions andidentifyingcustomer needs in a fast-paced metrics driven environment

• Highly organisedand motivatedto learn sales fundamentals and grow in a sales career

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to make a high volume of outbound calls and engage prospects over the phone including cold calling and following up on leads.

• Experience selling B2B solutions data analyticsSaaSor online platforms

• Familiarity with the hospitality or travel sectors preferred

• Experience qualifying leads asking discoveryquestionsandidentifyingcustomer needs

• Additionallanguage skills relevant to assigned markets are a strong advantage (e.g. southeastasianlanguages)

• Proven experience in inside sales telephone sales businessdevelopmentor a similarcustomerfacingrole

• Prior success in high-volume calling environments

• Prior customer service or sales experience
