Harvey Norman Commercial Smart Technologies is seeking a Sales Representative with a passion for our industry. Responsible for designing, specifying, and delivering integrated smart home, automation, home cinema, and commercial and Hospitality AV solutions across residential, commercial and hospitality projects throughout NSW/ACT.

\n

Based in ourACT Mitchell Branch, working closely with developers, architects, builders, consultants, and end users, this role combines technical system design, consultative sales, and project coordination to deliver scalable, high-performance technology solutions. Key platforms include Control4, and leading AV technology brands.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop and grow automation and commercial AV sales opportunities
\n
• Design and specify integrated technology solutions tailored to client requirements
\n
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and equipment schedules
\n
• Manage projects from initial consultation through to delivery
\n
• Build strong relationships with developers, architects, builders, consultants, and technology partners
\n
• Maintain sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM activities
\n
• Support successful project delivery through collaboration with internal teams and integrators
\n

Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• Proven experience in smart home automation, AV integration, or commercial AV sales/design
\n
• Strong knowledge of automation systems and distributed audio/video, and commercial AV systems
\n
• Experience across custom residential, MDU, BTR, hospitality, and commercial projects
\n
• Strong consultative sales, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, AV schematics, and system designs
\n
• Highly organised with strong quoting, CRM, and project coordination capabilities
\n
