We're looking for 5 (five) Marketing Specialists to join our Local Area Marketing Team in QLD, across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Far North Queensland.

\n

As a Marketing Specialist - Local Area Marketing within ALH Hotels, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager - Local Area Marketing.

\n

In this pivotal role, you will partner directly with publicans across a portfolio of 15 to 25 venues to diagnose business challenges and uncover growth opportunities.

\n

Driven by critical problem-solving, planning, and lateral thinking, you will establish short-term marketing plans to solve local venue needs.

\n

You will collaborate closely with your manager and subject matter experts in the central marketing team to refine ideas and take full ownership of local campaign execution to drive customer footfall and venue growth across food, beverage, and gaming.

\n

Here's a snapshot of the responsibilities:

• Publican Partnership & Execution: Act as the primary marketing partner to publicans across 15–25 venues, driving the day-to-day delivery, execution, and localisation of targeted campaigns to maximise guest engagement.
\n
• Channel, Content & Collateral Management: Manage owned digital and physical touchpoints, including POS, digital screens, visual merchandising, websites, digital listings, social media, and venue apps.
\n
• Central Campaign Integration: Ensure scaled central campaigns are executed locally to drive venue growth, seamlessly complementing portfolio initiatives with targeted local marketing activity.
\n
• Brand Integrity & Compliance: Uphold brand standards and ensure all marketing activities strictly adhere to industry regulations (e.g., ABAC, RSA/RSG), legal requirements, and company policies.
\n
• Local Partnerships & Community Engagement: Support and execute community marketing initiatives with local businesses and partners to boost regional venue awareness.
\n
• Performance Monitoring & Budget Management: Analyse campaign performance across your portfolio, deliver executive summaries, and assist the State Marketing Manager by opening POs, tracking vendor invoices, and identifying local cost efficiencies.

Now let's talk about you:

\n
• You bring 3–4 years of experience working in a dedicated marketing environment, with multi-site experience highly desired.
\n
• Proven ability to project-manage marketing campaigns end-to-end, alongside experience managing and optimising owned digital channels (social media, apps, web, listings).
\n
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, build productive relationships, and deliver clear presentations and storytelling to publicans and cross-functional teams.
\n
• Sound understanding of optimisation techniques, customer insights, and budget management to translate data into actionable, customer-first campaign plans.
\n
• A proactive, self-aware team player with a growth mindset who embraces creative problem-solving and adapts effectively to dynamic environments.
\n
• A tertiary qualification in marketing (or equivalent experience) and prior exposure to the hospitality industry are highly regarded.
