Australia equipment hire company that targets the construction, civil and industrial markets is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to take ownership of a Sydney territory and drive new business.

This is a genuine hunter role. You'll be out in the market identifying new customers, getting in front of decision makers and finding opportunities to grow the customer base.

The Role

You'll spend the majority of your time on the road, visiting construction sites, contractors, builders and other businesses that use hire equipment.
\n
There is an existing customer base to work from, but the focus of this position is new business. You'll be expected to proactively prospect, cold call, build relationships and turn opportunities into new accounts.
\n

About You
\n
I'm open to speaking with anyone who has a strong background in the hire industry and wants to take the next step in their sales career.
\n
You might currently be working in external sales, hire desk, internal sales or branch operations and be looking for an opportunity to move into a more proactive sales position.
\n
What's important is your attitude. You need to be driven, commercially minded and genuinely enjoy winning new business.
