Summary:

Ox Engineering is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Operator to join our manufacturing team in Canning Vale. This permanent, full-time position requires a skilled individual who can operate and maintain sheet metal machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards. The operator will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery
\n
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
\n
• Measure, mark out and inspect sheet metal components
\n
• Select and set appropriate tooling
\n
• Ensure accurate bends, angles and dimensions
\n
• Carry out quality checks throughout production
\n
• Maintain machinery and a clean, safe work area
\n
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
\n

What We're Looking For:

\n
• Previous experience insheet metal fabrication and press brake operation
\n
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
\n
• Strong attention to detail and quality
\n
• Good measurement skills
\n
• CNC press brake experience highly regarded
\n
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a sheet metal operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
\n
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machinery.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
\n
• Relevant vocational qualification or certification in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
