An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a well-established Women's Health Department in Western Australia.
\n The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive Consultant-led Obstetric and Gynaecology services across antenatal, intrapartum and gynaecological care, while working within an experienced multidisciplinary team. The role offers a varied clinical workload, excellent Consultant autonomy and opportunities to contribute to education, governance and service development within a supportive regional healthcare service.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

\n
• Provide Consultant-led Obstetric and Gynaecology services.
\n
• Deliver antenatal and postnatal care.
\n
• Provide labour ward and birthing services.
\n
• Manage elective and emergency obstetric cases.
\n
• Perform benign gynaecological surgery.
\n
• Conduct outpatient Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinics.
\n
• Provide emergency gynaecology services.
\n
• Supervise and teach junior medical staff.
\n
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development.
\n
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary Women's Health teams.
\n

Qualifications & Registration

\n

\n
• UK CCT in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or Irish CSCST in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (or due to complete training shortly).
\n
• Eligibility for Specialist Registration in Australia via the Expedited Specialist Pathway or another recognised specialist pathway.
\n

• Consultant-level Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience.
\n
• Broad experience across Obstetric and Gynaecology services.
\n
• Experience managing both elective and emergency presentations.
\n
