Job Description Summary \n

As a Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of Service Stream's warehouse and logistics functions. This role requires strong organisational skills, a safety first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.

This is a full-time permanent position based at our Regency Park warehouse.

About the Role \n

\n
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
\n
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
\n
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
\n
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner (where licensed).
\n
• Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
\n
• Manage documentation including delivery dockets, manifests, and inventory records.
\n
• Support inventory control, stock rotation, and storage optimisation.
\n
• Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch.
\n
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
\n

Skills and experience \n

\n
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeperson role.
\n
• Forklift licence LF essential.
\n
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and stock control.
\n
• Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
\n
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
\n
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
\n
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems).
\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• Forklift licence (desirable).
\n
• Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not required).
\n
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards.
\n
