Securecorp is seeking an experienced Full-Time Security Supervisor to lead and support security operations at a high-profile retail site in the Ipswich region.

This role is ideal for an experienced security professional with a strong background in retail security and team supervision. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for clients, customers, staff and visitors while ensuring security operations are delivered to a high standard.

\n

As a Security Supervisor, you'll lead by example, support your team, respond confidently to incidents and emergencies, and ensure site procedures and client expectations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations across the retail site
\n
• Provide guidance, support and direction to security officers on site
\n
• Deliver professional, customer-focused security services at all times
\n
• Conduct regular patrols, inspections and security checks
\n
• Monitor CCTV and security systems and respond appropriately to incidents
\n
• Manage access control and maintain secure entry and exit points
\n
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, alarms and incidents
\n
• Identify, assess and manage security risks and potential threats
\n
• Ensure security officers follow site procedures, client requirements and company policies
\n
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, shift reports and site documentation
\n
• Liaise professionally with the client, site management, emergency services and other stakeholders
\n
• Address operational issues and elevate matters appropriately when required
\n
• Maintain a high standard of presentation, professionalism and customer service
\n
• Support the delivery of a safe, secure and positive retail environment
\n

Skills & Experience

\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n

\n
• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor or in a senior security position.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working in retail security, preferably within a high-volume environment.
\n
• Current Queensland Security Licence including Crowd Control and Monitoring.
\n
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
\n
• Proven ability to lead, supervise and support a team of security officers.
\n
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response and risk management.
\n
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
\n
• Strong written skills with the ability to complete detailed reports and documentation.
\n
• Professional presentation and a proactive approach to security.
\n
• The ability to remain calm, make sound decisions and respond effectively under pressure.
\n
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
\n
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients, customers and team members.
\n
• Previous experience managing security operations within a retail environment will be highly regarded.
\n
