Base pay range: A$145,000.00/yr - A$165,000.00/yr

About the role

\n

\n
• Review financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
\n
• Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and review and analyse monthly operating results against budget.
\n
• Implementing and maintaining robust internal control systems to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial integrity.
\n
• Manage the operations of the accounting department, including the design of organisational structure.
\n
• Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making processes.
\n
• Leading and mentoring the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
\n

About you

\n

\n
• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) with between 8 -10+ years' experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
\n
• Relevant and industry-based experience across Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or similiar will be desirable.
\n
• Strong leadership and team management skills to mentor and develop finance staff.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
\n
• Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP and advanced Excel skills will be advantageous.
\n
