Pimpama Pavilion is an exciting modern venue thatboasts a 300+ seat restaurant, 200+ seat sports bar with TAB facilities, a luxury gaming room and separate function and entertainment areas.

Pimpama Pavilion offers our customers an exceptional modern and innovative pub menu, a full suite of beverage choices and multiple entertainment and promotional activities.

The Role \n

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated, hands-on and career focused Duty Manager, who is a proven proactive leader with experience to establish and drive continuous improvements in food and beverage operations, customer service and staff management.

\n

This is a full-time role requires flexibility to work across a 7 day roster including mornings, days, evenings, nights, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

\n

The successful candidate would be part of creating lasting memories for our guests and strive to provide exceptional customer service to showcase the best of what Pimpama Pavilion has to offer.

Tasks include but are not limited to: \n

To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:

\n

• Provide exceptional customer service to all visiting guests.
\n
• Ensure all staff abide by all Liquor licensing and Gaming regulations.
\n
• Perform ID checks, cash handling, stock control, balancing DTS.
\n
• Supervise and manage staff during shift operations.
\n
• A good understanding of rostering to manage staff and labour costs efficiently.
\n
• The ability to help and develop amotivated consistent team.
\n
• Have a genuine passion for what you do.
\n
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the Venue Manager to meet business needs.
\n
• Be proactive, professional and focused in a constant changing and challenging environment.
\n
• Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests.
\n
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety.
\n

Who we are looking for: \n

• Minimum of2 years recent experience in similar role
\n
• Proven ability to manage a team
\n
• Confident dealing with financial figures, budgets and reports
\n
• Proactive to handle multiple tasks at once
\n
• Superior time management, communication, and leadership skills
\n
• Be motivated and able to work under pressure
\n
• Have a positive can-do attitude to get things done
\n
• Available to work various shifts across a 7 day roster
\n
• Current RSA and RSG
\n
• Own reliable transport
\n
• Full working rights within Australia
\n
