We are seeking experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals to join the healthcare team at Wolston Correctional Centre on a casual basis.
\n
This is a great opportunity for experienced AINs looking to work in a unique healthcare environment.

About the Role
\n
Working as an AIN within a correctional healthcare setting, you will provide quality care and support to patients while working alongside a professional multidisciplinary healthcare team.
\n
Key responsibilities include:
\n
- \n
- Providing compassionate and respectful patient care \n
- Supporting patients with personal care and daily living needs \n
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient wellbeing \n
- Assisting nursing and healthcare staff with day-to-day patient care \n
- Maintaining accurate documentation \n
- Following infection control, safety and clinical procedures \n
- Promoting patient dignity, privacy and wellbeing \n

About You
\n
To be successful, you will have:
\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an AIN or Aged Care Worker \n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, OR be studying a Bachelor of Nursing \n
- Current First Aid and CPR \n
- Current National Police Clearance \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- A professional, calm and respectful approach \n
- Ability to work effectively within a structured healthcare environment \n
- Commitment to patient safety, dignity and confidentiality \n
