THE ROLEThe Project Officer works within a small, high-performing Evidence and Reporting team. The role will work collaboratively across the department to promote and deliver lasting Aboriginal wellbeing outcomes and facilitate self-determination for Aboriginal organisations and communities in all that we do. You play a key role in the delivery and implementation of Korin Korin Balit-Djak, the department's Aboriginal health, wellbeing and safety strategic plan, and its associated governance and oversight. Your role is to plan, participate in and support key advisory, governance and oversight bodies and associated activities, projects, communications and engagement with community and other key stakeholders.

The Evidence and Reporting team will support the department and key government partners advance Aboriginal self-determination for the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
\n
You will develop and maintain relationships across the department and the division, and with Victorian Aboriginal leaders, to incorporate strong Aboriginal voice and drive self-determination.
\n
This role is part of a multidisciplinary structure in ASDO that apply a collaborative and agile agile project management approach to our work. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDEContribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including: Undertaking research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.

Managing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
\n
Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
\n
