YOUR ROLE

\n

As an Inventory Administrator, you will support the National Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate inventory, product and production information across Bunzl's branch and distribution centre network.

\n

A key focus of the role will be the creation and maintenance of product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and kits, while coordinating stock transfers and resolving inventory issues to support efficient operations.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Create and maintain product codes, BOMs, kit codes and code extensions
\n
• Raise work orders for clothing modifications including embroidery, alterations and customised kits
\n
• Manage and resolve aged and outstanding BOMs on a weekly basis
\n
• Coordinate inventory transfers between distribution centres and branches
\n
• Maintain product information including pricing, pack sizes, descriptions and part numbers
\n
• Identify and correct obsolete or inaccurate product codes and descriptions
\n
• Assist with cycle counts, stock adjustments and inventory accuracy
\n
• Monitor branch minimum and maximum stock levels
\n
• Complete third-party purchasing when required
\n
• Provide broader inventory support to the National Inventory Manager and operational teams
\n

ABOUT YOU

\n

You are highly organised, analytical and comfortable working with detailed inventory and product data. You enjoy getting into the detail, identifying discrepancies and ensuring information is accurate across multiple systems and locations.

\n

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

\n

• Previous experience in inventory, purchasing, supply chain, production planning or a similar coordination role
\n
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with confidence working with reports and data
\n
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
\n
• Experience working with inventory or ERP systems
\n
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
\n
• A practical approach to problem solving and resolving inventory discrepancies
\n
• The ability to work collaboratively across branches, distribution centres and internal teams
\n
• A professional, ethical and respectful approach to your work
\n
