Join the Group Treasury Operations team within the wider global Corporate Operations Group as part of a high-performing and collaborative team responsible for managing the global Funding, Nostro & Liquidity operations for Macquarie Group.

What role will you play?

\n

In this role you will manage daily funding and liquidity requirements for Macquarie Group while providing end-to-end operational support across debt securities products including repos, bonds, negotiable certificates of deposit and commercial paper. You will process payments, manage settlement instructions, reconcile cash and securities positions, investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, and support account management activities while ensuring all activities meet policy and operational requirements. You will work closely with treasury markets teams to monitor liquidity positions, provide forecasts and intraday funding adjustments, support mortgage-backed securities settlements, and partner with Finance, Technology, Market Services and business teams to deliver process improvements through data and artificial intelligence-driven initiatives.

What you offer

• 3–5 years' of experience in treasury or financial markets
\n
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
\n
• Understanding of operational controls, risk frameworks and derivative bookings within a risk management system
\n
• Experience using data analytics and artificial intelligence tools to create dashboards and support business cases
