In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with clients, understand their individual needs, and deliver tailored massage treatments that promote comfort, wellbeing and positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities

\n
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic and relaxation massage services to older people in their homes.
\n
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop, implement, and review person-centred treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
\n
• Provide interventions that support clients' physical, social, and psychosocial wellbeing.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports within required timeframes.
\n
• Manage a caseload effectively while achieving service delivery targets and key performance indicators.
\n
• Collaborate with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
\n
• Educate clients and their support networks on treatment strategies, post-treatment exercises, and techniques to maximise independence and wellbeing.
\n
• Build therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and responding appropriately to client needs.
\n
• Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures, and innovative models of care within the Allied Health team.
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, organisational policies, and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

\n

You are a compassionate and client-focused Massage Therapist who is passionate about supporting older people to live independently and achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You will bring:

• Diploma of Remedial Massage (or equivalent).
\n
• Minimum one year post-qualification experience, ideally within aged care and/or community health settings.
\n
• Strong knowledge of community aged care programs, client assessment, care planning, and service delivery models.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based massage interventions and achieve positive client outcomes.
\n
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
\n
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
\n
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
\n
• Experience using clinical documentation systems, CRM systems, or similar platforms.
\n
• A current and unrestricted driver's licence, First Aid and CPR certification, and willingness to travel between client homes.
\n
