Electrical Apprentice

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice (Year 1–3), or someone looking to commence an apprenticeship, to join our growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a great opportunity to build hands‐on experience in the solar and battery industry, working alongside qualified electricians on residential and commercial projects in a supportive, safety‐focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with the installation of residential and commercial solar and battery systems
\n
• Follow all WHS and safety regulations, site procedures, and safe work practices
\n
• Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, and blueprints
\n
• Participate in ongoing safety training and on‐the‐job learning
\n
• Support the team in fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
\n
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and serviceable condition
\n
• Accurately document work completed and report progress to supervisor
\n

About You

\n

\n
• Currently registered as an Electrical Apprentice (Year 1–3), or eligible to be signed into an apprenticeship
\n
• Hold a current and valid driver's licence
\n
• Hold a White Card (Construction Induction Certificate)
\n
• Hold a Working Safely at Heights certificate (or willingness to obtain)
\n
• Strong interest in the solar and battery industry with a genuine willingness to learn
\n
• Basic understanding of electrical principles (advantageous but not essential)
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
\n
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools safely
\n
