Casual Sport Coach - Water Polo

Are you passionate about Water Polo, eager to develop your coaching skills, and committed to making a positive impact on students?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Water PoloCoachto join our team for the upcoming 26/27 season. This is an excellent opportunity for coaches who enjoy working with students, fostering skills development, and helping teams achieve their potential in a supportive school environment.

\n

In this role, you will workwith students across a range of age groups, helping to build technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game.

Coaching Commitments Year 9 (16s Team) \n

\n
• Training: Tuesday and Thursday, 1:30pm - 3:30pm
\n
• Game: Saturday (times vary, generally early - mid morning)
\n

Junior/Prep School Skills and Drills \n

\n
• Friday, 3:30pm - 5:00pm
\n

What's involved... \n

\n
• Plan and deliver engaging, age appropriate Water Polo training sessions
\n
• Coach and support students during weekly games and program activities
\n
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a positive sporting experience
\n
• Monitor student development and provide feedback on performance and game outcomes
\n

We are looking for... \n

\n
• A strong playing and/or coaching background in Water Polo
\n
• Experience coaching young people in a school, club or community sport setting
\n
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and skill levels
\n
• Professional communication and punctuality for all sessions, games and meetings
\n

• Compliance requirements needed before commencement: NSW Working with Children number (Employment Status), First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) and PBTR - Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction certificate.
