The opportunity: \n

We're hiring FIFO (Fly In / Fly Out) Sous Chefs from Brisbane and nearby suburbs on a 14:7 roster for Fulltime Employment.

\n

Working closely with the onsite Head Chefs, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner, while proudly upholding ISS's reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.

To be considered: \n

    \n
  • Australian Trade Certification or Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (Essential)
    • \n
  • A Food Safety Certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (SITXFSA005) (Essential)
    • \n
  • Experience as a Sous Chef in a commercial kitchen (Essential).
    • \n
  • Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
    • \n
  • Experience in large scale A La Carte kitchens (Desirable)
    • \n
  • Experience in mining village operations (Desirable)
    • \n
  • Must have with a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
    • \n
  • Experience driving a safe and productive work culture.
    • \n
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
    • \n
  • Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
    • \n
  • Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
    • \n
  • Driver's License/ Photo ID required.
    • \n
  • Demonstratea proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
