About the Role

Expression of Interest – Short-Term Casual Cover | Immediate Start

Solar Farm Constructions is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Agi Truck Drivers who are available for an immediate start to provide short-term cover on one of our utility-scale solar farm projects.

This is a temporary position offered on a casual basis, ideal for someone who is currently available and looking to pick up short-term project work.

As an Agi Truck Driver, you’ll support our onsite construction activities by safely operating an agitator truck and working closely with our batching and construction teams to keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.

Duties may include:

• Safely operating an Agi/agitator truck on site.
• Transporting and delivering concrete/batching materials to designated work areas.
• Completing daily pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks.
• Maintaining the Agi truck in a safe, clean and serviceable condition.
• Coordinating with batching crews, supervisors and other onsite personnel.
• Following designated site routes, traffic management requirements and instructions.
• Completing required plant and operational documentation.
• Following Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), site rules and company procedures.
• Reporting any plant defects, hazards, incidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Working collaboratively with the wider project team to support daily production requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience operating an Agi/agitator truck, ideally within construction, civil or similar project environments.
• Is available to commence immediately and comfortable undertaking a short-term casual assignment.
• Holds the appropriate current Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence required to operate the vehicle.
• Holds a Construction White Card.
• Has a strong commitment to safety and safe plant operation.
• Is reliable, punctual and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate respectfully with others.
• Is comfortable working outdoors and in remote/project-based environments.
• Previous experience within renewable energy, civil or infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Please note: This Expression of Interest relates to an immediate short-term cover requirement only and is offered on a casual basis. The duration of the assignment will be dependent on project and operational requirements.
