Business Development & Partnerships Manager (Americas) \n

Fleetyr is an agnostic platform that connects and cleans fleet and safety data across multiple sources, so business owners and managers can make smarter decisions.

In just over 3 years, Fleetyr now has the most integrations in the fleet and safety space and a presence across 6 continents. We are a product-led, culture-focused startup that needs a passionate and positive Business development team to take us to the next level.

  • Work directly with the founders as some of our first hires.

  • Flexible fully remote/work from home role with a head office based in Brisbane, Australia.
    • \n
  • Full-time, part-time and contract options available – we are open to what suits you and your lifestyle. We are looking to fill the equivalent of 3 full-time roles.
    • \n
  • We’ve been where you are. No late pay, weird commission structures, or unrealistic targets.
    • \n
  • 30% commission for new sales for the first year, and 20% rolling commission for the life of the customer. Fair and competitive base salary.
    • \n
  • Work directly with customers and referral providers, including some of the biggest software providers in the world.
    • \n
  • You can sell into international markets — no barriers.
    • \n
  • We don’t work with unkind or arrogant people. If a customer is treating you awfully, let us know and we will drop them.
    • \n
  • $500 health and fitness budget yearly (use towards sports and gym memberships) and a Headspace App subscription.
    • \n

What you offer \n

  • Fleet, automotive, telematics or safety software sales background and existing network are highly regarded. Experienced BDM in other industries considered.
    • \n
  • You’re eager to collaborate with the marketing team to help develop sales materials and content.
    • \n
  • You have a good sense of humour, are a team player, and possess high initiative.
    • \n
  • You’re excited to join a rapidly growing startup. As our first hires in business development, you’re happy to grow with us, help build a world‑class company culture, and bring real impact.

What you'll be doing \n

    \n
  • Hybrid Sales, Partnerships and Account Management role(s).
    • \n
  • Find and sell to new customers, OEMs, software partners, and resellers.
    • \n
  • Upsell and look after existing accounts and software partners.
    • \n
  • We're product-led, which means you'll play a big part in helping shape Fleetyr's direction. You will need to communicate and collaborate with our development team based on your customer insights.
    • \n
  • We're eager to hear your ideas on how you think you could fit with us.
    • \n
