FinXL is seeking a Network Engineer - NV1 to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telco client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Cisco routing and switching solutions across complex network infrastructure.
\n
• Design, configure, and maintain high-performing enterprise routing architectures.
\n
• Implement robust enterprise switching protocols to maintain continuous service delivery.
\n
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve advanced network performance issues and incidents.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support network upgrades and changes.
\n
• Ensure strict adherence to government security protocols and network architecture standards.
\n
• Maintain accurate network documentation, topology maps, and procedural guidelines.
\n

Key Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• Must hold an active Australian Government NV1 (Negative Vetting 1) Security Clearance.
\n
• Strong hands-on engineering experience in Cisco routing and switching technologies.
\n
• Proven expertise configuring standard routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
\n
• Deep technical understanding of switching frameworks (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
\n
• Demonstrated experience working within large-scale Telecommunications or Enterprise networks.
\n
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for complex network operational issues.
\n
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience).
