For more than 35 years, the organisation has focused on improving access to healthcare for communities that may otherwise have limited access to services. Teams work across clinics, community settings and outreach locations, supporting people throughout rural, remote and Indigenous communities.

Position Description: \n

An opportunity exists for an experienced Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary team delivering services across clinic, community and outreach settings throughout the St George region.

\n

Responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Delivering personalised nutrition interventions across chronic disease management, paediatrics, aged care, gut health, eating disorders and home enteral nutrition
\n
• Providing services across clinic, community, school, early childhood, home visit and telehealth settings
\n
• Supporting clients from rural and Indigenous communities, with care tailored to individual and local needs
\n
• Working collaboratively with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants
\n
• Contributing to sleep health services and supporting sleep studies alongside Sleep Specialists
\n
• Supporting initiatives that improve access to care for people experiencing disordered eating and eating disorders
\n
• Participating in outreach and community-based service delivery
\n

The caseload offers significant variety and the opportunity to develop clinical interests over time.

Position Requirements: \n

\n
• Recognised tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
\n
• Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
\n
• Previous clinical experience as a Dietitian
\n
• Full working rights in Australia
\n
• Current driver's licence
\n
