About the role:

\n

\n
• Develop and own the end-to-end Fragrance & Makeup marketing strategy, aligning category objectives with Myer's broader Beauty and customer strategies.
\n
• Translate commercial plans into customer-facing marketing narratives that differentiate Myer's Fragrance & Makeup offer and reinforce its authority as a destination for prestige beauty.
\n
• Identify category growth drivers, risks and opportunities through data, customer insights and competitive analysis.
\n
• Define campaign priorities and lead the development of seasonal, brand-led and customer-led marketing briefs across Fragrance & Makeup.
\n
• Partner with Creative, Retail Media and Insights teams to ensure campaigns are insight-led, high quality and built for channel effectiveness.
\n
• Build category trade plans that align with buying and merchandise strategies, promotional cadences and retail events.
\n
• Leverage the Myer retail media network to deliver highly targeted, insight-led opportunities powered by Myer One behavioural shopping data.
\n
• Align internal and external brand priorities with retail media offerings, ensuring a cohesive, customer-centric marketing approach.
\n
• Establish strong relationships with Buying and Merchandise teams to align on product priorities, range launches, new brand introductions and gifting opportunities.
\n
• Manage the Fragrance & Makeup marketing budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost tracking and ROI evaluation in collaboration with the Marketing Operations and Planning team.

About you:

\n

7+years' experience in retail, beauty or category marketing with ownership of category or brand marketing plans, ideally with exposure to fragrance, colour cosmetics or prestige beauty. Strong commercial focus with ability to interpret trade data, customer insights and performance analytics. Demonstrated experience working with Buying / Merch teams or product-led stakeholders in a retail environment. Proven ability to develop strategic marketing plans and translate them into effective multichannel execution.

Experience managing multiple brands, including prestige, global and concession partners with strong brand governance requirements. Understanding of beauty and fragrance consumer behaviour, trend cycles, gifting occasions and the aspiration-driven nature of the colour cosmetics and fragrance purchase journey.

\n

Strong creative judgement and experience briefing creative / agency teams. Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Experience leading or developing junior talent Highly organised with strong project management capability and ability to manage competing deadlines.
