An exciting opportunity has become available to join a well-established environmental and open space maintenance contractor delivering high-quality horticultural services across Melbourne's bayside region. Your new role \n
Based out of a Port Melbourne depot, you'll be working across a major municipal parks and gardens contract, assisting in the maintenance and presentation of streetscapes, parks, reserves and public open spaces.
Key responsibilities will include: \n
- \n
- Garden and landscape maintenance \n
- Planting, pruning, mulching and weed control \n
- Turf and garden bed maintenance \n
- Operating horticultural plant and equipment \n
- General parks and open space upkeep \n
- Working safely as part of a dedicated outdoor crew \n
What you'll need to succeed \n
To be considered, you will ideally have:

- \n
- Proven horticultural, parks and gardens or landscaping experience \n
- A Certificate III in Horticulture (highly regarded) \n
- Strong plant identification and maintenance knowledge \n
- Experience using horticultural equipment and tools \n
- A current driver's licence \n
- Happy to obtain a Police Check \n
- A strong work ethic and commitment to quality outcomes \n
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment \n

Candidates with extensive industry experience will be highly regarded, even if they do not hold formal horticultural qualifications.
