Marketing & Sales Coordinator

We are preparing to launch an exciting new technology platform designed specifically for the mining and resources industry and we're looking for someone exceptional to help us bring it to market.

We're starting from the ground up.

We need someone with new energy, creativity, commercial confidence and serious drive who is excited by the opportunity to help build a brand, grow a community and acquire customers from day one.

You'll work closely with the founders and play a hands-on role across both marketing and sales.

We're looking for someone who understands mining and/or recruitment, knows how to build brands through social media and is equally comfortable creating content as they are picking up the phone and speaking with a potential client.

This is only open to candidates within Perth and have full Australian working rights.

This position has two major focuses:

MARKETING & BRAND GROWTH
You'll help take a completely new brand to market and build awareness across the mining and resources industry.

Responsibilities will include:

• Creating and executing our social media strategy
• Developing reels, short-form video, graphics and campaign content
• Helping establish and grow the brand's personality and online presence
• Building our social media audience and community
• Creating pre-launch, launch and growth campaigns
• Identifying social trends and turning them into relevant industry content
• Capturing and creating content with founders, clients and industry professionals
• Developing creative campaigns that make the brand stand out
• Monitoring content performance, reach, engagement and growth
• Supporting email marketing and database campaigns
• Helping turn a brand-new platform into a recognised name within the industry

SALES & CLIENT ONBOARDING
You will also be responsible for helping grow our company user base.

This will include:

• Identifying prospective company clients
• Outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach
• Following up inbound leads and enquiries
• Introducing and demonstrating the technology to prospective clients
• Converting interested companies into registered users
• Onboarding new clients onto the platform
• Following up registered companies to drive activation and usage
• Building strong relationships with clients
• Maintaining an organised sales pipeline
• Tracking leads, conversions, onboarding and client activity
• Working closely with the founders on sales and growth strategies

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You will ideally have:

• Previous marketing, social media, sales or business development experience
• Mining and/or recruitment knowledge or experience
• Demonstrated experience building or growing a brand through social media
• Strong short-form video and content creation skills
• Previous sales and client-facing experience
• A proactive, creative and fast-moving approach
• An understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable
• The ability to thrive in a start-up environment

A portfolio or examples of previous work are essential.

We want to see:

• Social media accounts you've managed or helped grow
• Reels, TikToks or short-form content you've created
• Brands or campaigns you've worked on
• Examples of audience, reach or engagement growth
• Successful marketing campaigns
• Relevant sales, lead generation or client acquisition results
