Job description

We are seeking an experienced client-side Civil Supervisor for an immediate FIFO assignment on a new remote iron ore development in far north Western Australia. Working a 2/1 roster ex-Perth, this role will run through to the end of October and will suit a hands-on supervisor with strong bulk earthworks and haul road construction experience, who is ready to go NOW!

The project

You will oversee self-performed bulk earthworks for the construction of a 6.6km haul road and intersection tying into the Great Northern Highway and a new iron ore desposit. The scope includes challenging cut-to-fill works, with sections involving deep cuts and high fills.

Key details

  • FIFO 2/1 roster ex-Perth
  • Immediate start through to end of October
  • 12-hour days with camp accommodation provided
  • Crew size of approximately 25-30 personnel
  • Remote project location in far north WA
  • Circa $90/hr + Super

About you

  • Proven Civil Supervisor experience on bulk earthworks, haul roads or remote mining infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of cut/fill sequencing, production, safety and quality requirements
  • Confident leading self-perform crews and coordinating plant, labour and daily work fronts
  • Able to work effectively in a remote FIFO environment and start immediately
  • Preferably S26 Supervisor certified (*or in the process)
