Working closely with customers, suppliers, engineering and sales teams, the business provides tailored product solutions, technical troubleshooting, training and service support.

Key responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead category planning and initiatives to deliver sales, profit and market-share growth.
\n
• Provide technical support, application guidance and troubleshooting assistance for Power Transmission products.
\n
• Manage product range, supplier selection and product lifecycle activity.
\n
• Develop strong supplier partnerships and support joint growth plans.
\n
• Work with sales teams to develop customer opportunities, product solutions and targeted sales plans.
\n
• Support the development of competitive pricing, promotions, marketing and merchandising activity.
\n
• Deliver technical product training for internal teams and customers.
\n
• Conduct customer and branch visits to support sales development and market engagement.
\n
• Analyse category performance, customer trends and market opportunities.
\n
• Partner with supply chain and inventory teams to support forecasting and inventory optimisation.
\n
• Maintain product data, technical literature and sales-support materials.
\n

About you

\n

\n
• Practical technical expertise in Power Transmission, including related industrial components, applications or systems.
\n
• Experience in product management, category management, technical sales, engineering support or industrial distribution.
\n
• A strong understanding of industrial customer requirements and technical problem-solving.
\n
• Commercial awareness, including exposure to product range, pricing, sales or margin management.
\n
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills.
\n
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to deliver technical training.
\n
• Strong planning, time-management and attention-to-detail skills.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using ERP and CRM systems.
\n
• A current driver licence and flexibility to travel within Australia as needed.
\n
