C3Talent is partnering with a large, established agricultural management business to appoint a Finance Manager to its Bundaberg-based team.

\n

This role is permanently based in Bundaberg, Queensland and will require relocation.

The Opportunity \n

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while leading and developing an experienced finance team.

\n

The business manages a diverse portfolio of agricultural operations on behalf of private, corporate and international clients, creating a genuinely varied and complex finance environment.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
\n
• Manage month-end and year-end reporting across multiple entities.
\n
• Oversee cash flow, banking, AP, AR and loan administration.
\n
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
\n
• Oversee payroll, audit and compliance requirements.
\n
• Partner with senior operational and executive stakeholders.
\n
• Drive improvements across systems, processes and financial controls.
\n
• Work alongside the CFO to enhance reporting, automation and Power BI capability.
\n

About You \n

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys being both hands-on and people-focused . You will ideally bring:

\n
• Finance Manager, Senior Financial Accountant or similar experience.
\n
• Strong financial reporting, month-end, budgeting and cash flow capability.
\n
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
\n
• Strong systems and process improvement capability.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI highly regarded.
\n
• CA/CPA preferred, but not essential.
\n
• A practical, down-to-earth approach and strong stakeholder skills.
\n

This is an office-based role in Bundaberg and requires relocation.
