You will support the coordination, delivery and evaluation of strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, secretariat activities and projects that advance the priorities of the Economic Strategy and Productivity Group.

\n

Your day-to-day work will include monitoring project plans, milestones, risks and deliverables; preparing briefs, reports and project documentation; analysing information to identify emerging issues; and supporting evidence-based planning and recommendations.

\n

You will coordinate events, working groups, committees and stakeholder consultations, while building effective relationships across Treasury and with external stakeholders. You will work flexibly across competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery and business processes.

\n

You will be joining our Economic Strategy and Productivity Group and working within the Market & Regulation Division. Read more about your future Group and Division.

About the Candidate

\n

\n
• demonstrated experience providing project coordination and secretariat support in a complex stakeholder environment
\n
• experience coordinating events, stakeholder engagement activities and logistics from planning through to delivery and evaluation
\n
• strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear briefs, correspondence, reports and project materials for different audiences
\n
• sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify emerging issues and develop practical, evidence-based recommendations
\n
• the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes
\n
• sound proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; an understanding of government processes and governance is desirable.
