Manager People and Culture

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys setting direction backing their team and staying close enough to the work to make things happen. Youll lead a broad People and Culture portfolio that helps deliver IPC Healths Well for Life strategy by creating the conditions for our people to be well at work do great work and deliver great services to the communities we serve.

Why this role

Youll lead a team with reach across people partnering workplace relations organisational development recruitment payroll volunteers wellbeing and workforce reporting. Its a role that needs both strategic thinking and practical judgement: translating the Well at Work workforce strategy into action coaching leaders through complexity improving systems and creating a People and Culture function that is proactive trusted and easy to work with.

What youll bring

Youll bring experience leading people functions in a complex values-led environment and the confidence to move between strategy service delivery and sensitive people matters. Deep experience interpreting enterprise agreements awards and employment frameworks is essential along with the judgement to translate technical requirements into clear practical advice. You know how to build trust with senior leaders guide a team through competing priorities and make decisions that balance people risk compliance and culture. A calm leadership style strong workplace relations capability and a practical improvement mindset will help you align day-to-day People and Culture activity with our Well for Life ambition and Well at Work priorities. Experience implementing improving or optimising HRIS technology systems would be highly regarded.

This is an ongoing full-time position classified as Grade 6 (HS6) under the Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services Managers and Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement .
