JobSummary:

TheCyberSecurityAnalystistaskedwithcontinuouslymonitoringandtriagingsecurityeventsandalertsfromSIEMandothersecuritytoolsacrossdiverseclientenvironments.Thisrolerequirespromptlyinvestigatingandrespondingtosecurityincidents,providinginitialanalysisandimplementingcontainmentactionstoensurerapidresolution.Furthermore,theanalystwillmaintainandtuneexistingplatformswhilecontributingtothedevelopmentofrobustdetectionandresponseplaybooksandwillcollaboratewithbothclientsandinternalteamstodeliverexpertsecurityanalysisandactionablerecommendations.Theanalystwillalsoiterateonhistoricalprocessessuchastheintroductionofnewtoolingincluding,butnotlimitedtoAI,forusewithinthesecurityoperationscentre.

Responsibilities:

  • RespondtoandtriagealertsquicklytoreduceMeanTimetoRespond(MTTR).
  • Monitorcustomerenvironmentsproactivelytoimprovedetectionspeedandclientconfidence.
  • Tuneandbuildalertingrulestominimizefalsepositivesandenhanceaccuracy.
  • Createcleardocumentationandplaybookstoaccelerateresponseworkflows.
  • Engagewithcustomersandmanageescalationstoimprovesatisfactionandtrust.
  • Automaterepetitivealerthandlingtoincreaseefficiencyandreducemanualeffort.
  • ImplementAI/MLsolutionstolowerMeanTimetoDetect(MTTD)andMTTR.
  • Continuouslyrefinedetectionandautomationmodelstoachievereliableoutcomes.

Essential

  • Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills
  • Excellentcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytoconveytechnicalconceptstobothtechnicalandnon-technicalstakeholders
  • Knowledgeofthreatactorbehaviour,tradecraftandtheattacklifecycle
  • Abroadunderstandingofprinciplesinnetworking,infrastructure,andoperatingsystems
  • Highlyorganised,proactive,andabletoprioritiseandmulti-taskunderpressure.

  • Proficiencyindesigningandimplementingautomation,analyticalmodels,andworkingwithgenerativeAIorlargelanguagemodels
