The Opportunity

  • Utilise your experience to deliver clinical services through evidence based, individual and group interventions and counselling
  • Provide a variety of services including assessments that identify individual strengths, skills, experience and vulnerabilities in employment
  • Temporary Fulltime role for 12 months
  • Based at both our Shellharbour and Wollongong sites

Would this describe you?

  • Tertiary qualification in your discipline of either: Psychologist OR Provisional Psychologist OR Qualified Counsellor OR Rehabilitation Counsellor OR Social Worker with AOD experience
  • Previous experience counselling adults
  • Registration/Membership with relevant state or national professional body is essential (i.e. AHPRA or ACA or PCAA/PACFA or AASW)
  • Clinical counselling or mental health counselling
  • Proven ability to motivate and genuinely engage with people
  • Solution focused therapeutic approach which links to vocational goals
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and national police check
  • Be able to obtain a myID
  • Current drivers licence
