Job Description
This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Sutherland

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:
Before school hours: 6.30am - 9.00am (Monday to Friday)
After school hours: 2.30pm - 6.30pm (Monday to Friday)

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you’ll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events, assemblies.
Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program
Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
Fun: Play and have FUN with primary school aged children
Remarkable: Support with ensuring your program in compliance according to industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate:

✅ Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
✅ Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
✅ Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
✅You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
✅ Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
✅ Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
✅ Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
✅As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
