• Assist in the delivery and promotion of programs, activities and events of across the Community Development team, including community events, community program delivery and civic event support where required.
\n
• Guide public event organisers and coordinate internal requirements for Public Event Applications to ensure timely submission of high-quality applications.
\n
• Undertake administrative requirements for (and participate in) the positive promotion and publicity of Community Development functions including managing customer enquiries via the Customer Records Management (CRM) system.
\n
• Assist with administrative tasks relevant to Advisory Groups, Working Groups, Forums and other stakeholder meetings, including the coordination of agendas, minute taking and liaising with speakers, where required.
\n
• Coordinate internal annual administration requirements for Welfare and Recovery practices (within Local Emergency Management Arrangements).
\n

• Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills in a community development, local government or not-for-profit environment context.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
\n
• Commitment to customer service and good interpersonal skills across broad range of demographics.
\n
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in line with deadlines.
\n
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using customer databases preferred.
\n
