$40.24–$56.52 per hour + superannuation + penalties

Are you an experienced Intensive Care Registered Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity within a leading private hospital in Sydney?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, highly skilled and clinically driven ICU team, caring for complex and high-acuity patients within a dynamic private hospital environment.

You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team where your clinical expertise is valued, while having the opportunity to further develop your critical care skills across a diverse patient population.

About the Role

Working as part of the ICU team, you will provide exceptional, patient-centred care to critically unwell patients across a broad range of complex presentations.

You will have the opportunity to work across areas including:

  • Neurosurgical and neurological patients
  • Cardiothoracic patients
  • Complex medical and surgical patients
  • Ventilated and high-acuity patients
  • Post-operative and critically unwell patients
  • Cardiovascular and respiratory emergencies
  • Haemodynamic monitoring and management
  • Mechanical ventilation and respiratory support
  • Invasive monitoring
  • Vasoactive medication infusions
  • Sedation and analgesia management
  • Renal replacement therapy / CRRT
  • Emergency response and deterioration management

About You

We are seeking an experienced and passionate ICU Registered Nurse who is confident working within a high-acuity environment and committed to delivering safe, exceptional patient care.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous ICU nursing experience
  • Experience caring for ventilated and high-acuity ICU patients
  • Cardiothoracic and/or neurosurgical ICU experience
  • Strong clinical judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A reliable, adaptable and professional approach
  • A strong commitment to safe, patient-centred care
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • The ability to work a rotating roster
  • A preference for working regular night shifts would be highly regarded
