Sales Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Sales Manager with strong waste-industry experience and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our commercial footprint, supported by an experienced local management team. This role requires someone who can balance strategic growth ambitions with practical resourcing, ensuring sales momentum and disciplined execution.

Key responsibilities

Set and deliver ambitious sales and profitability targets

Build accurate, insight-driven sales forecasts

Maintain high operational and customer service standards

Leverage industry experience to identify, pursue, and win new business

Build and sustain strong customer relationships

Represent the company at industry forums, events, and strategic meetings

Deliver budgets, forecasts, and reports with accuracy and commercial insight

Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity

Drive pricing strategy, margin optimisation, and contract negotiations

Exceptional leadership skills with experience working with high-performing teams

Strong relationship management and influencing capability

Advanced commercial acumen, including pricing strategy and P&L literacy

Proven ability to translate strategy into execution

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

Experience in the waste industry or adjacent sectors
