The Role

Newkey Consulting is partnering with a leading principal contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure upgrade on the Central Coast, NSW.
\n
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer for a permanent position.
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Provide on-site Mechanical engineering support to project delivery teams \n
- Support planning, site coordination, and daily construction activities \n
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance requirements \n
- Support subcontractor management and contribute to safety, environmental and quality outcomes \n

About You
\n
You are a motivated engineering professional looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project and develop your career within a supportive and high-performing team.
\n
You will bring:
\n
- \n
- Degree qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline \n
- 1-2+ years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within construction, infrastructure or a project environment \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills \n
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams \n
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement \n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail \n

Highly regarded:
\n
- \n
- Previous site-based engineering experience \n
- Experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure works \n
- Exposure to mechanical installation, piping, pumps or process equipment \n
